STEAM Lab: Crack the Code

Young S.T.E.A.M.gineers .... It's been a longggg time! But we are back!

You are formally invited to our first STEAM Lab of 2024, hosted by Ms. DHCP, where the challenge is to unravel the mystery of a secret hacker who stole all her files. Dabble in the world of computer networking and themed riddles as participants collaborate in teams to crack the clues and uncover the identity of the culprit. Get ready for a thrilling adventure of problem-solving and teamwork!

In this STEAM event participants will be introduced to computer networking concepts such as servers, clients, DHCP, DNS, Ports, networking basics and much more.  They will also exercise critical thinking skills as they work collaboratively to problem solve alongside liked-minded STEAMgineers. 

Notes: 

• There are 2 sections. The same activities will be facilitated in both sections.
• Registration is granted on a first-come first-serve basis and confirmation will be given through email (Only 20 spots available per session).
• Pizza lunch will be provided promptly at 11:30am - 12:30pm for ALL participants in both the morning and afternoon session (Please remember to provide dietary restrictions).
• Arrive on time for drop-off and pick-up (participants must be signed-in and signed-out).
